Caminetto: New Dear Bent Dublin (07) (AT) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-011-0897

The Caminetto workshop was founded by Luigi Radice and Guiseppe Ascorti in the late 1960s, the pair establishing the brand after a lengthy tenure with Castello. Caminetto pipes quickly became a success, their unique design language cementing them as one of Italy's most respected makers. They've become especially renowned for their craggy rustications, with many of their pipes showcasing highly textural carving across their stummels. This bent Dublin is an expressive piece from the brand, with a sleekly tapering shank and stem combination that nicely balances the presence of the bowl. The shank and stem are demurely curved, with a gracile stature that offers a comfortable smoking posture and a charming look in profile. Up front, the bowl stands on a rounded heel and flares out to a broad rim, canting forward subtly for an added bit of dynamism. The stummel here is dressed in Caminetto's coveted New Dear finish, a carved rustication with a fluid pattern reminiscent of dripping wax and a light, tan stain that boasts a fumed rim for rich contrast.
