Castello's bent pipes often display this same style of extra-sinuous, serpentine S-curve. It's a signature shaping cue of the Cantù workshop and one that adds more curve to the shank than is typically seen from other makers. Here, that lithe gesture is paired to a voluptuous Apple bowl, offering a palm-filling presence and a capacious tobacco chamber within. A smoky walnut contrast stain dresses the stummel, showcasing a wealth of vertical grain around the bowl's flanks.
