Per the Italian workshop's typical style, the shank-and-stem combination tapers consistently toward the button, leading the eye forward toward the squat bowl. Dressed in a rich, chestnut stain, the briar reveals handsomely oriented grain above which lies a rim of natural plateau — a feature not often seen on this specific Apple rendition from Castello.
