While Castello presents Billiards in a variety of sizes, styles, and dimensions, they are almost always recognizable as the work of the Cantù workshop due to their muscular proportions and expert finishing techniques. Such is the case with this offering — displaying a towering, proud, and deep-chambered bowl paired to a comparatively trim shank-and-stem combination. Such a combination draws attention to the soaring bowl, and rightfully so as there's an array of beautiful flame grain to admire beneath the dark, smoky walnut contrast stain. While it's an undeniably robust and full-bodied Billiard, it's a conveniently sized rendition, measuring under five-and-a-half inches in length. A bold take on a shape-chart standard from one of the most respected names in Italian pipe making is certainly hard to beat.
