This is a quintessential bent Billiard rendition as interpreted by Castello. The version features a subtle, gradually and consistently arching curve through the shank and stem, leading naturally into the firm heel and the bowl's forward cant. Such a posture calls to mind the elegance of the traditional Prince shape but in taller, Billiard form. Furthermore, this particular example bears a rim that undulates slightly atop the bowl for a stylish, subtly playful accenting touch, and the grain highlighted by a stunning, honey-blonde stain erupts in pinpricks of birdseye across the flanks.
