Castello: Collection Occhio di Pernice Bent Dublin (K)

Product Number: 002-386-4373

Castello's "Occhio di Pernice" and "Fiammata" stamps denoted exceptional grain and are award to pipes that showcase particularly beautiful examples of birdseye and flame grain, respectively. Having received the latter stamp, this bent Dublin rendition boasts birdseye that will delight grain hounds, with dense seas of swirling grain covering both flanks, divided by a consistent band of parallel cross grain. As a shape, this is one of the Cantù workshop's longer bent Dublin renditions, fitted to a demi-Churchwarden stem via an acrylic military mount, and the sleek nature of the profile draws the eye forward to the stummel, dressed in a smooth finish alluring, onyx stain for vivid grain definition.
