Castello: Sea Rock Briar Paneled Bent Dublin (G) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-4626
Though compact in terms of total length, coming in under five inches from end to end, this bent Dublin from Castello boasts a capacious tobacco chamber over two inches in depth, which should ensure plenty of long, luxurious smoking sessions. Four paneled facets encompass the bowl and add a touch of firm angularity to the piece. While ostensibly a bent Dublin, this piece has more in common, in terms of its bowl shape, with a bent Egg, as it features the same sloped sides and supple, rounded heel. The shank kicks high coming out of the muscular transition before giving way to a military mount and a push-style tapered stem, the later arcing for a relaxed smoking posture. The stummel wears a dark iteration of the Italian marque's Sea Rock rustication, which provides plenty of stimulating texture for the fingers to explore, save for the rim and nomenclature panel left smooth and stained a lighter color for a touch of contrast.
