Castello: 'Castello' Lovat (GG) Tobacco Pipe

This Lovat from Castello has fittingly received the Italian workshop's "GG" size designation, denoting larger dimensions. The tall, stout bowl houses plenty of chamber depth and is proudly and prominently poised at the end of a dramatically lengthy, subtly tapering shank and lean, abbreviated saddle stem. Neoclassic in its proportions, this piece sits sturdily, thanks to a flattened underside and is dressed in one of the workshop's vibrant, orange-hued stains, highlighting handsome whorls of birdseye and pronounced cross grain.
