Castello: Aristocratica Bent Pot Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-386-4645

Castello's striking Aristocratica finish dates back to a period from the late 1960s to 1979, when workshop founder Carlo Scotti fashioned a small number of pipes to give to his good friends. Each piece wore an iconic, "fumed" smoky rim with an auburn stain, as seen in this bent Pot Nosewarmer. This piece honors Carlo and his benevolence. Furthermore, it's rare that we see the Aristocratica finish on one of Castello's signature shapes made to resemble the original "55" bent Pot design. Shape-wise, the low-lying bowl displays the jaunty, jutting heel and graceful Prince-like bend to its mouthpiece, all in pocket-friendly proportions. A collectable pipe, its shaping is spot-on and precise, with the smoky, plateau-covered rim evoking the look of a beloved, well broken-in briar.
