Fashioned in the bold, dramatic proportions informed by Italian neoclassic style, this bent Billiard from Castello offers a muscular, robust bowl, its thick walls and slightly oblong form filling the palm comfortably. The easy lines from the sweeping, plump heel continue through the more slender and sinuous S-curve in back, with plenty of room at the transition to drape a thumb. It's dressed in the workshop's smoky, walnut stain, showcasing the briar's fetching cross grain at fore and aft and a splendid spread of birdseye swirling along the right flank.
