Castello's pipe-making style often results in classic shapes that feature exaggerated proportions or distinctive flourish that separate them from the classic aesthetic of traditional French and English makers, à la the Italian neoclassic design tradition. The workshop's "95" shape, however, is among Castello's most classically rendered, adhering to the balanced proportions and stately style of those early Anglo-French marques, and it's further distinguished by an acrylic military mount.
This three-pipe set from Castello comprises their "95" shape in three different smooth finishes — the smoky contrast of the 'Castello,' the dress-pipe motif of the Perla Nera, and the honey-blonde Collection — for a unifying theme but diverse aesthetic presentation. They come complete in a supple, leather presentation box with a velvet interior and a plaque denoting the iconic "95" design.
