Castello: Collection Great Line Bent Dublin (KK) Tobacco Pipe

This bent Dublin is a rather svelte member of Castello's Great Line series, featuring a shank-and-stem combination that comprise a consistent taper to the button, taking on an elegantly curved posture as they flow out from the transition. Said transition is wide enough to drape a thumb rather easily, though it is made a touch more tightly-knit thanks to the bowl's construction. At just a touch over six inches long, the willowy stretch of shank and stem balances this bowl quite well, supporting its dramatic, blooming flare to the rim with poise. Said bloom is here reminiscent of pipes in the Danish Fancy style, erupting in a lively flare after a slight pinch at the waist and terminating in a bountiful crown of plateau. A deep, smoky rendition of the Collection finish dresses this pipe, revealing windswept flame grain throughout the sides of the stummel.
