Castello: Collection Great Line Bent Dublin (KK) Tobacco Pipe

A lengthy bent Dublin rendition at more than seven inches long, this piece from Italian Workshop Castello is truly deserving of its Great Line stamping, as it certainly displays a build larger than much of their standard fare. This continues through the bowl as well, rising to more than two inches tall and holding a capacious chamber that ensures leisurely smokes, though the shank showcases a build more slender than one may expect from such a robust piece as it tapers sleekly out of the wide transition. This slenderness is accentuated by the shank's domed military mount of black acrylic and matching stem, lessening the weight as a whole, keeping the aft side svelte, and allowing this pipe to be taken apart at any time, even when hot. Dressed in the workshop's vibrant Collection finish, the honey stain of the stummel here showcases dense streaks of windswept flame grain through the flanks and around the bowl, with extra textural appeal lent by the crown of craggy plateau at the rim.
