A bowl of Stack-like depth is not often found on the classically English Lovat, but within the realm of Italian neoclassic shaping, it should come as no surprise — especially on a GG-sized Castello pipe, one of the Italian workshop's largest designations. Having been fashioned by the famous Cantù workshop, the firm heel and rugged Sea Rock rustication are just par for the course, as is the top-notch briar selection and superior shaping. Furthermore, this example wears the craggy texture and unique hues of the Old Sea Rock rustication, dressing most of the bowl in a vibrant auburn stain, while the rim is fumed, offering rich contrast thanks to its inky coloration.
