Measuring less than five inches in total length, this Pot from Castello is a compact shape, but one that retains a palpable muscularity to its build, especially when considering the stout, stocky bowl. The thick shank tapers swiftly into the slender mouthpiece, and its gradual reduction keeps most of the composition's visual weight anchored with the bowl, a common design cue found in Italian briars.
