The Canadian design lends itself well to the bowl-centric, neoclassical style that marks a great deal of Italian pipes, with this Castello rendition boasting a "G" stamp that denotes the marque's largest size, making for an exceptionally bold piece of briar. The stout, broad bowl dominates the low-slung, oval shank-and-stem combination, anchoring most of the visual weight up front with sleek, flattened lines. The stummel wears dual finishes, with the bowl resplendent in a bright, smooth honey stain, accentuating lovely licks of flame grain on all flanks and handsome birdseye dotting the rim.
