This Pot from Castello pairs a stout, thick-walled bowl to a refined, tapering shank-and-stem arrangement, for a thoroughly Italian neoclassical appearance in profile. The bowl possesses a firm, slightly pronounced heel and a slightly rearward-slanting rim, lending the composition a touch of aerodynamic styling. The shank here is remarkably trim, tapering out of the transition before meeting a black acrylic stem that continues the taper to the button, creating an aft end that's quite sleek. It's all presented in the warm blonde stain of the Collection smooth finish, which highlights an assortment of impressive grain around the flanks of the bowl.
