Castello: Old Antiquari Lovat (GG) Tobacco Pipe

A bowl of Stack-like depth is not often found on the classically English Lovat, but within the realm of Italian neoclassical shaping, it should come as no surprise — especially on a GG-sized Castello pipe, one of the Italian workshop's largest designations. Having been fashioned by the famous Cantù workshop, the firm heel and rugged texture of the stummel are just par for the course, as is the top-notch briar selection and superior shaping. Furthermore, this example wears the crisp sandblast and vibrant auburn stain of the workshop's Old Antiquari series, revealing rippling undulations of growth rings cascading down the bowls walls.
