Tall, hearty, and quite curvaceous, this bent Dublin from Castello pairs a tall, flaring bowl to a willowy shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl boasts a subtle forward-cant that keeps the pipe's profile active and engaging, and it houses a rather capacious chamber within its stout insulating walls, which should ensure plenty of leisurely smoking sessions. The shank-and-stem arrangement add a nice bit of fluidity to the composition and keeps things rather gestural without distracting from the visually dominant bowl. Dressed smoky smooth finish, the stummel displays some rather striking birdseye across the flanks of the bowl.
