Castello: Collection Bent Dublin (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-5020
Far from Castello's usual bent Dublin interpretations, this dramatic, sharply angled piece features an outline very similar to that of a check-mark. One of the most striking elements of this pipe is undoubtedly the bowl, one which, despite the overall length of this piece being just a touch over five inches, is still well over two inches tall, holding a very capacious chamber. The transition is very tightly knit, angling the shank upward and poising the sleek, tapered stem in such a way that simply begs to be hung from the jaw. A firm heel supports the bowl and mirrors the look of the transition, urging the bowl itself forward quite a bit, thereby adding a decided dynamism and momentum to the composition, further enhancing its bombastic looks. Dressed in the vibrant auburn stain of Castello's Trademark finish, this bent Dublin displays lovely flame grain all around, with an especially fiery display on the right flank and birdseye clusters populating the rim.
