This particular Castello is a truly remarkable piece of craftsmanship from the Italian workshop and was fashioned as part of a limited-edition line. Serialized as number 103 out of 150 pieces, this Zulu design features a sterling silver band that depicts a bamboo motif. Shape-wise, it's quite a dynamic design, the bowl exhibiting a great deal of forward-urging momentum and paired to a gently bent, tapered stem. The tobacco chamber is generously deep and the grain orientation is superb, with tight stacks of contrast-stained growth rings rising in concert with the bowl's flare to meet the broad rim and all of the beautiful birdseye that graces its smooth surface. If you're a Castello collector, this is one you don't want to miss out on.
