This bent Dublin from Castello is a compact design with a tall bowl that houses a chamber capacity over two inches in depth. Shape-wise, this piece features a flared rim that favors the fore dramatically over the aft, set above a bowl that tapers to a sharply defined, rounded heel. The shank kicks high coming out of the muscular transition before giving way to an acrylic military mount and a tapered, push-style stem. The military mount configuration enables the piece to be easily broken down, even while the pipe is still hot. The stummel wears a dark, ruby-tinged rendition of the Sea Rock rustication, providing plenty of stimulating texture to delight the fingers. The nomenclature panel is left smooth and lightly stained for a touch of contrast against the rest of the stummel. Perfectly shaped for comfortable jaw-hanging, this piece offers plenty of robust features in a charmingly snug package.
