Castello: Sea Rock Briar Bent Dublin (G) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-386-5218

Founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. An exquisitely distinctive shape, this bent Dublin by Castello showcases several elements not typically ascribed to the shape-chart standard. The tall bowl poses atop a pronounced, sharp heel, from which the bowl's walls rise to a wide waist, before gently tapering to the rim, quite atypical for a Dublin. Out back, the broad transition gradually trims down to an acrylic military mount that joins to a tapered stem of the same jet-black material. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in Castello's Sea Rock rustication, which gives the pipe a rugged texture and weathered aesthetic, save for the smooth-polished rim.
