Castello: Old Antiquari Bent Billiard (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-5228
Founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This bent Billiard by Castello possesses a sweeping, consistent undercurve that feeds into a pronounced heel, giving the bowl a significant taper at the fore and aft but nearly vertical flanks. The shapely stummel is dressed in Castello's Old Antiquari finish, an earthy sandblast that is complemented by a jet-black acrylic stem which dramatically bends to the bit to complete this pipe's sinuous S-curve.
