Founded in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This bent Billiard by Castello features a similar design to their famous "55" bent Pot, as the pipe demurely arcs upwards from the bulbous heel to the trim bit. However, the bowl possesses a far more traditional design than the "55," as the sides gently taper to the rim, providing an ample canvas for outstanding growth rings in the process. Additionally, the shank is considerably longer than the acrylic tapered stem, a reverse dynamic compared to a classic Billiard, providing extra space to show off the vibrant, honey-colored Collection finish.
