A sleek, lightweight design, this Billiard from Castello pairs a tall, upright bowl to a lean, arrow-straight shank-and-stem arrangement. Though this piece is fairly well-balanced in terms of proportions, making it something of an outlier for the Italian firm, the bowl here is a touch firmer than the traditional Billiard, with said bowl standing atop a firm, slightly pronounced heel. A striking dual finish dresses the stummel and sees the bowl's craggy, terracotta-hued rustication juxtaposed against the shank's smoothly polished, honey-hued complexion. It's all tied together by a sterling silver accent that adds a touch of flash to the shape in profile.
