Castello: Sea Rock Briar Bent Apple (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-5312
Since their founding in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This hearty bent Apple by Castello packs some serious muscularity despite its small stature. Although the bottom of the bowl is rounded, it does not taper dramatically to the rim like a typical Apple, giving the bowl a Pot-like appearance. The Sea Rock rusticated bowl rises to a rim with an amber, smooth finish that exposes speckles of birdseye, much like the thick shank donning the same smooth finish, which displays vertical grain running along its sides. Additionally, a stout, black, acrylic stem completes the composition's varied light and dark themes that make for a truly eye-catching pipe.
