Castello boasts a pipe-making history that dates back to 1947, when Carlo Scotti established the workshop in Italy. The well-respected shop has since been fashioning high-quality briar into delightfully shaped, finished, precisely engineered smoking instruments that are sought by legions of loyal fans. This Opera is a unique take on the classic shape, placing the characteristically ovular bowl atop a firm heel, capped with a beveled rim at the fore of an elongated round shank and acrylic saddle stem. Dressed in the matte black Perla Nera finish, this piece would be quite at home in a black-tie ensemble.
