Castello: Sea Rock Briar Pot (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-386-5557

From the mind of Italian artisan Carlo Scotti, Castello was founded in 1947 with the goal of offering handmade pipes that exude quality in both form and function. Working together with Luigi Radice and Peppino Ascorti, the three would serve as key innovators in defining Italian neoclassical pipe design. A thorough showcase of the marque's style, this Pot from Castello features a bowl-centric design. At the fore of the composition is a squat, robust bowl formed by sturdy walls rising from the firm heel toward the flat rim. Out back, a muscular shank transitions from the bowl and carries a subtle taper into a jet-black acrylic stem, the pair shifting a touch more visual weight toward the front. Courtesy of Castello's Sea Rock Briar finish, the stummel wears a dark, craggy rustication, save for the rim, which is dressed in a light, smooth stain for contrast.
