Since their founding in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello has handcrafted high-quality pipes and helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes has helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. Though rather compact, measuring less than five inches long, this Pot by Castello boasts a muscular build, with a palpable girth afforded to the bowl and shank alike. Up front, the stocky bowl rests atop a rounded heel and grows thick walls that terminate at a flat rim. Said bowl is joined to a thick shank that gently tapers into a trim, slender mouthpiece. Castello's eponymous finish completes the ensemble and highlights healthy flame grain throughout the stummel.
