Castello: 'Castello' Billiard with Silver (KK) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-5705
Since their founding in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes has helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes has helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This Billiard by Castello is an exceptionally balanced composition that is more reminiscent of the Anglo-French school than Castello's familiar neoclassic offerings. The bowl boasts a soft heel and gently contoured insulating walls, which conform naturally to the hand. Out back, a proportional shank-and-stem arrangement linearly tapers from the transition to the bit, creating a sleek, traditional profile. The stummel wears Castello's eponymous finish, which highlights healthy grain throughout the stummel. Additionally, this piece is accented with a sterling silver accent that ties the composition together with a dose of flash.
