Measuring just over four and a half inches in length, this bent Billiard from Castello is a lightweight, compact rendition of the classic shape, one that's sure to offer a comfortable presence whether held in the hand or hanging from the jaw. The bowl is framed by four crisp facets that emerge from the plump heel and rise straight toward the flat rim, with the rounded corners helping to soften the figure. This juxtaposition of supple curves against firm paneling continues out back as a slender, round shank kicks high and meets a gracefully arcing tapered stem. A striking iteration of Castello's eponymous finish is featured here: the marque's signature smooth, honey-blonde stain dresses the stummel, save for the crisp, fumed rustication enveloping the rim and both flanks of the bowl, which adds further visual and textural contrast to this piece.
