Castello: Collection Bent Dublin (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-386-5741
Since their founding in 1947 by Carlo Scotti, Castello's commitment to handcrafting high-quality pipes has helped elevate the reputation of Italian pipes to luxury status. Furthermore, Castello's personal shaping approach to pipes has helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. This bent Dublin by Castello is a muscular, full-bodied design with a curvaceous profile and a comfortable in-hand presence. The bowl here stands atop a firm, plump heel and grows thick, insulating walls that flare to a broad, slightly concave rim, with this rim overseeing a healthy tobacco chamber. Said bowl is paired to an upturned shank and a demurely curved tapered stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. Dressing this piece is the workshop's Collection finish, which highlights striking flame grain and birdseye throughout the stummel.
