A rounded heel supports said bowl, its walls expanding to a low-set waist before making a subdued, curving taper to the flat rim. At nearly two inches tall, this bowl offers a robust substance in hand, its subtle contours keeping it comfortable while the walls surround a capacious chamber. The transition is wide, and it gives way to a broad, ovoid shank that tapers toward a similarly tapering stem of demurely curved black acrylic, the easy arc slightly softening the muscular look of this piece.
