Castello: 'Castello' Bent Dublin (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe

Founded by Carlo Scotti in 1947, Castello is recognized by some enthusiasts for being one of the first Italian brands to separate from the conventional English and French shaping standards. All of their pipes are individually shaped by a small team of artisans who focus on quality in both form and function. This sinuous bent Dublin is an excellent example of the workshop's artistic skill. This piece forgoes classic, bowl-forward Italian craftsmanship for a balanced design that places a lenticular, plateau-crowned bowl at the fore of a well-bent shank and stem arrangement. Dressed in a dark mahogany stain, the stummel displays some fine strands of flame grain across the bowl as they rise to the craggy rim.
