Essentially the Rhodesian version of Castello's "54" straight Bulldog, the piece features a squater style of Bulldog bowl. Moreover, this particular example exhibits a rounder bowl compared to the more conventionally tapered variety common to Castello's portfolio. It emulates the look of an Apple in silhouette but with a Rhodesian's characteristic beadline about the waste. Tapering consistently from transition to button, the profile is easily recognizable as Castello, yet it offers subtle variation for a unique collection addition — dressed in the workshop's light blonde stain and having earned the prestigious Collection appellation.
