Castello: Old Antiquari Bent Bulldog (KKKK) Tobacco Pipe

Furthermore, Castello's shaping approach to pipes has helped cultivate the bowl-centric and whimsical Italian neoclassic aesthetic. Castello's bent Bulldogs differ in design, and this version features a Dublin-like bowl, replete with a crisp ridgeline at the waist, above which is a board, slightly domed that reaches toward a flattened rim. The bowl's waistline takes center stage when viewing this piece, replacing the shape's normally beadline-wrapped waist with one that is bulging with a crisp ridgeline. A diamond shank connects to the bowl and, giving way to a black acrylic ferrule that then connects to a matching acrylic stem in a push-style configuration. The stummel is dressed in a crisp sandblast that accentuates lovely growth rings around the bowl's flanks.
