From the mind of Italian artisan Carlo Scotti, Castello was founded in 1947 with the goal of offering handmade pipes that exude quality in both form and function. Working together with Luigi Radice and Peppino Ascorti, the three would serve as key innovators in defining Italian neoclassical pipe design. A handsome rendition of the shape-chart standard, this Apple from Castello boasts a plump, full-bodied bowl that stands at the fore of a sturdy shank and a slender, tapered stem. The shank and stem are joined via a military mount of sterling silver, which adds a touch of flash to the shape's profile, as well as durability to the push-style mouthpiece.
