Castello: Aristocratica Pot Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-386-5913

One of the biggest names in Italian pipe making today, Castello's roots can be traced back to 1947, when Carlo Scotti founded the workshop and began producing handmade briar pipes. In a time of quantity over quality in Italy's pipe-making history, Scotti flipped the script by prioritizing craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and cutting-edge engineering. Today, the brand remains committed to these principles, producing impeccably made pipes like this Aristocratica Pot.

While the bowl of this Pot is classically stout and boasts a broad chamber, it's generally larger than English or French renditions of the same shape. Behind the bowl, a short and incredibly muscular shank-and-stem arrangement springs forth. Stocky in shape, the stem terminates in a broad bit, which provides extra comfort while smoking.

The plump curves of this Pot showcase a wealth of gorgeous grain. Birdseye dances across the shank and along the bowl's left flank, incredibly dense and entrancing to behold. On the other side of the piece, tendrils of hearty flame grain trail along the stummel's right flank. The bottom of the stummel wears a smooth, honey-stained finish but gradually darkens to a deep, smoky hue, stopping at the bowl's craggy rim.
