Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Dublin with Tamarind (CCCCC)
Product Number: 002-400-2018
When it comes to accents, Claudio tends to go for more reserved, conservative contrasts: nothing too flashy or ostentatious, a more minimalist approach, you could say. Here we see an example of one of his lesser seen accents, spalted tamarind. Though he doesn't use it nearly as regularly as, say, olivewood, its unique grain pattern does have a way of bringing another level of complexity to the composition — compositions like this beautiful bent Dublin. Finished in Cavicchi's signature blonde "C" grade contrast, the color palette is reserved and tasteful — letting the briar and the shaping speak for themselves.- Andrew Wike
