More structured than the Horn shape it hints at, this bent Dublin from Claudio Cavicchi features craggy ring grain in his brown finish, emphasized by the longitudinally oval, plateau rim. Graceful curves dominate the silhouette, which reveals a lithe, gradual curve and taper from heel to lip button. That taper makes the transition nearly nonexistent, allowing the grain to undulate across the surface uninterrupted by shaping. It's a classic rendition, but in a remarkably sophisticated form, with each element a refined improvement on the typical fare.
