Hearty and bold, this tall Rhodesian from Claudio Cavicchi presents a forward-urging, curvaceous bowl, with this rendition more softly shaped than its classically inclined cousins. Paired to an equally muscular, curling triangular shank, this pipe is dually finished, with a ruby-toned smooth stain cloaking the domed rim and beadlines, showing off some stellar birdseye. Below the bowl's waist and throughout the shank, the Italian carver offers one of his deep ebony sandblasts, highlighting the briar's handsome ring grain.
