Claudio Cavicchi presents a broad-bowled, extra-plump, and low-slung take on the Tomato in this rendition. It's a shape not normally associated with Italian pipe making, though Claudio has crafted his fair share of them over the years, each one varying in design but always full of charm. The delightfully chubby bowl conforms to the hand effortlessly and is followed by a trim, elegantly bent shank and tapered stem combination out back. It's dressed in a terracotta-stained sandblast, unveiling a fascinating array of grain around the bowl.
