Claudio Cavicchi offers a hearty, fascinating Freehand in this rendition, with the towering, curvaceous, slightly forward-leaning bowl resembling that of the Egg shape. Below, a broad panel of plateau on the heel base extends past the fore, narrowing as it extends through the shank, enabling this piece to sit. An elongated transition and muscular shank and stem stretch out in back, the proportions nicely balancing the bowl's height and mass. Wearing one of Claudio's crisp, earthy sandblasts that shows off stunning, tight stacks of ring grain, the rim is smoothly polished for contrast.
