With a slender shank-and-stem combination culminating in a subtle downward turn, this Horn from Claudio Cavicchi offers a wide bowl with thick insulating chamber walls and a softly inflated rim populated with elegant birdseye. The bowl is substantially proportioned and the piece has a smooth, gradually tapering transition from shank to bowl, along with a lifting heel that imbues the piece with a subtle forward momentum. A warm, walnut stain illuminates the expert sandblast of this pipe, revealing fantastic ring grain that radiates from the heel to the rim.
