Claudio Cavicchi: Brown Sandblasted Bent Dublin with Spalted Beechwood Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-400-2623
Displaying a subtle flare from a firm heel upwards to a smooth, sloping rim, the robust bowl of this Claudio Cavicchi bent Dublin takes on a rather playful disposition. The abbreviated shank is separated from the fishtail acrylic stem by a handsome band of spalted beechwood, the pale hues with its inky grain patterns contrasting the jet-black mouthpiece. The stummel is dressed in one of the artisan's iconic, earthy sandblasts, showing off stunning growth rings, but then Cavicchi is known for his keen eye in shaping the briar to best reveal its grain patterns, as he has done here with aplomb.-Angela Robertson
