Though not a recipient of any of the Italian carver's coveted "C" stamps, this handsome bent Billiard still showcases Claudio Cavicchi's deft ability to coax the most exquisite natural presentation from a given block. He's also managed to simultaneously shape it into something rather easy of profile, and equally comforting in hand thanks to the deep, low-set transition. Finished in a rich, warm walnut stain, this bent Billiard is covered in dense, vibrant striations of flame and straight grain, especially prevalent on the bowl, each strand leading the eye to the birdseye-covered rim.
