A traditional, saddle-stemmed Billiard from Claudio Cavicchi, this piece features bold, Italian neoclassic proportions — the deep-chambered bowl receiving most of the visual weight and shaped with a round stoutness that accentuates its upright stance. It's dressed here in one of Cavicchi's signature sandblasts, replete with gorgeous in-hand texture, vivid growth rings that follow the bowl's cylindrical shaping, and a warm, terracotta-hued stain to complement. The artisan has left the slightly chamfered rim smoothly polished for contrast.
