In this smooth bent Brandy, Claudio Cavicchi has balanced a soft and supple bowl with a good bit of height to the rim, followed by an almost equally thick shank-and-stem configuration — the stem's saddle orientation contributing to a defined sleekness through the aft side of this piece. The bowl is possessed of a lively forward cant that affords the composition a subtle bit of momentum given the hearty build of the bowl itself. As you might expect from Claudio, it's immaculately grained with finely stranded flame and straight grain enveloping the entire bowl, all revealed beneath his warm chestnut stain.
