Claudio Cavicchi: Smooth Bent Dublin (CCC) Tobacco Pipe

Claudio Cavicchi is a world champion slow smoker and has been making fine pipes for almost 50 years, no doubt imbuing his knowledge of both into this superlative bent Dublin. It compresses into a quite vertical profile that keeps it in relatively pocket-friendly dimensions, yet maintains a distinct, swooping S-curve and muscular build. The grain, as I expect for Claudio's smooth pipes, is uniform and tight, with fiery flame grain flicking up around the bowl beneath one of his iconic smooth blonde finishes. A well bent, jet-black acrylic saddle stem completes the arrangement with a promise of excellent jaw hanging. This is a superb rendition, earning three "C" stamps out of five, and is sure to be a wonderful companion to enthusiasts of bold Italian style.
